With a distinguished background in international relations, Claudia elevates our approach to the intricacies of the English planning system, providing a uniquely global and insightful perspective. Having transitioned to the planning domain, she's cultivated a profound understanding of the public realm, delving into the nuances of human-space interaction — a knowledge that has been indispensable in our more expansive projects.

Claudia's master's dissertation, entitled “Skate and Regenerate?: The Politics of Skateboarding, Public Space, and Urban Development in London”, reflects her depth of research and passion for urban spaces. Furthermore, her experience with prestigious placements has endowed her with a keen understanding of top-tier professional environments and standards.

At Urbanist Architecture, she harnesses her refined skills and extensive town planning expertise to precisely evaluate the development potential of new sites and adeptly navigate the complexities to obtain planning approvals for challenging locations.

Her role also includes keeping lines of communication open with planning departments. That is something that has become increasingly difficult in recent years but Claudia embodies our determination to maintain the kind of open and productive relationships with councils that allow for constructive changes during planning applications.

“ We at SWIM Enterprises CIC are thrilled with the successful outcome of our Certificate of Lawfulness application and the seamless experience of working with Selena and the rest of the team. The well-structured application process and the Urbanist Architecture team's expertise in addressing the intrinsic considerations of our project were instrumental. We look forward to more future collaborations and wish the UA team every success in their endeavours. ”

For me, it all comes back to the user - the most beautiful building is still a failure if the experience of people who are going to live, work, and play there has not been considered.
