Domantas brings a thoughtful, technically grounded approach to architecture, shaped by strong academic training and experience across a range of sectors. Having relocated to London at the start of 2025, he joined Urbanist Architecture with a rigorous design mindset and a clear understanding of how well-considered architecture needs to perform in practice.

He completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, where he developed a disciplined design process and a strong grasp of architecture across different building types. Before moving to London, he worked on educational, commercial and industrial projects, building valuable experience and learning how to respond carefully to different technical and operational demands.

At Urbanist Architecture, Domantas has focused on residential design, where he has brought that broader experience into projects ranging from extensions to new-build homes. He contributes across feasibility, planning and technical design stages, combining commercial awareness, attention to detail and a calm, solutions-led approach.

What stands out in Domantas’s work is his ability to bring together functionality, technical precision and architectural quality in a way that feels measured and purposeful. He approaches each project methodically, refining ideas with care to help shape homes that are practical to deliver, enjoyable to live in and strong in design terms.

Outside the studio, Domantas enjoys exploring London’s architecture and drawing inspiration from the city’s mix of styles, eras and urban character. He also takes part in design challenges and values time outdoors, which gives him space to reset and return to his work with fresh perspective.

Since our homes are where we spend we majority of our personal time, it is important to take special care of the spaces we live in. That’s why I believe that architecture has the power to make a huge difference in everyday life.
