Design is in Ella Macleod’s blood.
With an interior designer mother and a property developer father, Ella grew up in her family’s Auckland home reading floorplans at the kitchen table and sensing early on that architecture might be her calling.
Her love for design took shape at school, where she excelled in art. After finishing, she travelled through Southeast Asia and Europe, absorbing diverse architecture and culture, before returning to New Zealand to begin formal architectural studies.
She gained early studio experience in Auckland before making the move to London. Since arriving, she’s earned a reputation for hard work, creative flair, and translating briefs into refined, intelligently crafted architecture and interiors.
Exceptional design talent, relentless curiosity and an energy that elevates everyone around her define Ella’s contribution to the practice. She brings thoughtful design skill and authenticity to everything she does, testing ideas, refining details, and moving the work forward with greater precision and confidence.
What Ella enjoys most, beyond the satisfaction of problem-solving, is meeting and collaborating with a wide range of people to shape design solutions together.
