Sky Moore-Clube is an ARB-registered architect at Urbanist Architecture with an unusually broad professional background spanning architectural practice, editorial journalism and teaching. Each informs the depth and rigour she brings to her work.
She graduated with a First from Central Saint Martins before receiving an academic scholarship to study for her MArch at the Architectural Association. Alongside her studies, she gained experience on a major London regeneration project at CGL Architects and later contributed to the editorial team at The Independent, before returning to Central Saint Martins as a tutor.
As a Project Architect and one of Urbanist Architecture’s key design experts, Sky guides projects from feasibility through to planning permission and technical design. Her considered approach brings architecture and interiors together, creating distinctive homes that people desire, value and are proud to own.
She has a particular passion for heritage buildings, combining enthusiasm with rigorous research into their history. Understanding what makes each building special allows her to find thoughtful ways to adapt it for contemporary life while preserving the qualities that give it lasting value.
Sky also brings a careful eye to interior spaces, finding well-crafted solutions to even the most constrained briefs. Her interests in psychology, sensory experience and the architecture of health inform her attention to how spaces feel and function, as well as how they look.
“ We used Urbanist Architecture for an extension renovation project and couldn't be happier. What stood out for us with Urbanist Architecture is how much they listened to what we wanted and then synthesised that into something beyond our imaginations. Even when the council asked us to make a change, they were able to produce an equally good result. ”

A great architect is someone who recognises that they have a responsibility for the influence they have on the built environment and the daily life of the end-user.
